Latinx LGBTQ+ Community Engagement Group Roundtable
April 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am PDT

Welcome to Out & Equal’s first Latinx LGBTQ+ Community Engagement Group Roundtable of 2025.
CEGs offer year-round opportunities for intersectional identity groups to build shared awareness around common challenges and strategies and inspire each other through individual stories.
The Latinx LGBTQ+ Community Engagement Group will be hosted by Gabriel de la Cruz Soler (he/him), from Out & Equal, Ananda Putcha (she/her) from Ben and Jerry’s Brazil, and Rolddy Levya (he/him), the Vice Chair of Out & Equal’s Board of Directors.
Studies prove that America’s growing Latin workforce is marked by high retention, productivity, and advocacy when Latin employees can be their authentic selves. However, they face systemic biases that are amplified for LGBTQ+ individuals. In Latin America, the gender gap and transphobia further hinder career advancement, presenting significant hurdles for LGBTQ+ employees seeking to elevate their careers.
That’s why safe places like Out & Equal’s Latinx LGBTQ+ CEG are important, as they provide the opportunity for individuals of like identities to connect, share stories, and discuss their unique challenges and shared experiences. Centered on community and open dialogue, these vital support networks, enable LGBTQ+ Latinx members to advocate for themselves and colleagues—creating space for individuals to not only feel seen and validated, but to show up to work and thrive each day as their authentic selves.
This CEG is available for O&E partner contacts and companies and community and non-profit organizations. You must self-ID with the group.
