The mission of the ALLchemie employee group is to focus on creating an inclusive work environment, which will address the challenges of the changing business, family, and social environments. ALLchemie is not only for those who identify as LGBTQ+ but for everyone who fully values and embraces diversity in the workplace. ALLchemie helps bridge the LGBT and the broader BASF communities through ideas, innovation and opportunities that have a positive impact not only on our business but also on our lives. The Virtual group generally functions as a way to disseminate and cascade information and updates related to other site chapters and other topics of interest to its members. OUTreach Virtual members can share the message of BASF Employee Resource Groups in general, and ALLchemie in particular, with colleagues to spread awareness and help recruit others who may be interested. The connected network of ALLchemie OUTreach can also be a resource for mobile employees who work remotely. One important role of a virtual member is to look out for local government activities that impact the LGBTQ+ community and report them back to members of the ALLchemie council so that BASF can be aware of these activities and choose to be involved if appropriate.
