CEGs offer year-round opportunities for intersectional identity groups to connect, share stories, and discuss their unique challenges and shared experiences.

The API LGBTQ+ CEG will be hosted by CJ Gregorios (they/them) from Quest, and Cindy Wong (she/her), from HSBC.

LGBTQ+ API people frequently encounter distinct barriers to acceptance and understanding, both within their cultural communities and society-at-large. These challenges are compounded by traditional cultural norms, systemic discrimination, and a lack of dialogue around the intersection of ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity, making it essential to address these complexities with care and awareness.

It’s why safe places like Out & Equal’s API LGBTQ+ CEG are important.

Through these vital support networks, which are centered on community and open dialogue, individuals can feel seen and validated. They can tap into and build the strength that lies within to show up authentically at work, advocate for themselves and others, and thrive.
