The purpose of Bechtel’s business resource group (B-PROUD) is realizing our BRG’s vision of bringing together colleagues who identify as LGBT+ and their allies to help foster an inclusive and respectful culture. We seek to demystify the challenges people face so they can be their full selves and achieve their best at work. But, unfortunately, for some of us, the freedom to be our full selves is not a given. That is one of the issues we are working to address with our company-wide Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) program and strategic D&I Action Plan. We are putting programs and procedures in place that empower all Bechtel colleagues, no matter who we are or who we love, to be our full selves at work. We don’t want any of our colleagues to expend energy hiding who they are to “fit in” or find acceptance.
The Caterpillar Lambda Network (Lambda) is an Employee Resource Group helping to create an inclusive environment for Caterpillar’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual employees, and their allies, working together to educate employees on the perspective and value of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our goals is to foster an attractive and open workplace where LGBTQ+ employees can thrive and bring their whole self to work.
We will achieve this by:
Creating visible leadership support and sponsorship
Increase network membership including launching new local chapters
Foster a positive LGBTQ+ environment including education for all on matters relevant to our community
The Pride Network is an employee resource group dedicated to celebrating diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity and championing gays, lesbians, bisexual, transgender and queer people as equal and valuable Turner employees! Turner encourages an environment of inclusiveness and does not support discriminatory practices or behaviors. We raise sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ employees, ensuring that their perspectives are considered at John Deere.
Spectrum, Brother’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, leads through its mission to advocate for LGBTQ+ employees, communities, and customers, with the goal of increasing awareness, creating resources, helping to inform internal practices, fostering an inclusive culture, and expanding Brother’s outreach.
