Drivers of Respect, Inclusion, Value, and Equality (DRIVE) is one of VWGoA’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG) focusing on its LGBTQIA+ community in the workplace.
The members of DRIVE support diversity and inclusion through activities that promote community, development and equality for LGBTQIA+ employees and allies alike. We strive to develop and sustain VWGoA as a welcoming and inclusive workplace, and work towards the development and inclusion of employees regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Ford GLOBE is an inclusive employee resource group for LGBT+ employees and allies. We have 11 chapters covering all of our global markets. Ford GLOBE’s Vision is of a corporate culture which provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where diversity is valued and everyone is empowered to be authentic about themselves in the workplace, without fear of loss of opportunity, thus allowing them full realization of their potential and equal participation in all aspects of corporate life.
Toyota’s LGBTQ ERG, Spectrum, sets out to foster an inclusive and supportive work environment where LGBTQ people can bring their full selves to work and fully thrive. The chapters are governed by an advisory council North American Advisory Council, which allows the opportunity to share best practices, collaborate, and create strategic visions across chapters. Spectrum’s presence is felt in the local communities, including many rural areas in the Midwest and South where Spectrum’s presence in the manufacturing facilities has created more accepting workplaces and communities. Spectrum partners with dozens of LGBTQ non-profits and universities across the country to host events, volunteer, and fundraise.
